Ladies and gentlemen, ever thought of giving outdoor bowls a try? It’s a game that has no age barrier and has a good social side. Why not give it a go and see if it’s a sport for you. Coaching is available, so you can try it out at your own pace without any pressure.

We are having an Open Day on Sunday 28th May from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and we welcome newcomers who would like to know more about the sport. Visit us and have a look around at what the club can offer you, and try bowling for yourself! Ideally, if you could wear flat shoes that would be great. There will be members available who can explain the game over a cup of tea! 

Our season runs from May to September, and we hold club nights every Monday evening from 6:00pm. So if you can’t make or wait for our Open Day, then please come on a club night, you will be assured a warm welcome. 

Wells Bowling Club is situated on the Recreation Ground by the Bandstand, we are a friendly club and you will be made very welcome. To find out more please visit our website
